Like
most Malaysia townships, esp those in North
Peninsula Malaysia, SP's population consists of
mainly Malay, Chinese, Indian and Sikh. Malay spoken
language, affectionally called 'Bahasa
Kampung' (means village language)
is commonly used in place of the standard 'Bahasa

The
unique colloquial Bahasa Kampung create a sense
of brotherhood closeness between people speaking
it. Especially when we overheard it in a place
far away from home.

their own uniqueness. It is not only about
accent, it involves unique slang, modified words,
tune and grammer.
