Knowledge required are depending on the system and platform the company is running.
For example, commonly used operating systems are
Windows NT and Unix (Linux is getting more popular) Common programming technologies are Microsoft-base (e.g. using Microsoft's Visual InterDev) and Java-based.
However, basic knowledge such as
HTML, Javascript, Java, VB script, Visual Basic, CGI/Perl, ASP are the minimum.

Web Editor
Qualification required: Degree in IT discipline

Job description: Leading a team or content writers and web designers in contents management and Web design. Working closely ith the entire company esp. the Sales/Marketing dept.

Web Master
Qualification required: Degree/Diploma in IT discipline

Job description: Leading a team of Web designer and developers in managing the Web site content, presentation, achitecture in making sure that a Web site is always available and ready to handle the customers' needs.
